Valentines Dinner near Mendocino?
[Chowhound's Latest » California] I think we plan on heading to Mendocino for V-day, but does anyone have any other suggestions for places in Point Arena, Manchester, Elk, or the vicinity? Not just special occasion restaurants, but bars, grocery stores, coffee shops, farmers markets, etc.

2005 Bonterra Cabernet Sauvignon, Mendocino
[Quaffability] Here’sa new vintage of a wine that was very highly rated last time around. Like the 2004 this is made from organically grown grapes by a company highly rated by the “buy blue” movement.

Does a Wine's Score Matter?
[yumsugar -- To die for.] to one person a merlot may taste harsh and to another it could be full of flavor. That being said, I do take into account a wine's score when choosing what wine to purchase.
