[Vincent Wine Company] Pinot Noir Futures Available Through August | Vincent Wine Company: In 2009, this wine is medium ruby in color with a spicy bing cherry perfume that I find myself lingering over. This is the more elegant of our two wines, full of cherry and spice flavors but with nice finesse and long finish, things I prize in top quality Pinot Noir.

[WineVine Imports Blog] The Best Pinots! Oregon Wine Country: Beautiful scenery engulfed us as we drove to this 100% estate bottled vineyard. Upon entering their homey tasting room, up on a hill above the tasting room is this ancient oak tree. This historic tree is the symbol on their wine label and Pinot Noir tasting glasses. During our tasting, Mark took us outside to show us the tree and educated us on the history of this interesting heritage. We learned during the Oregon Trail times of 1854 this tree was used as a surveyors landmark. The carved marking is still evident on the trees trunk. We were planning on hiking to see it, but were warned of poison oak. Oh shucks, guess well have to try more Pinot .The tree is a magnificent sight from down below and Im sure just as impressive up close.

It allows for a much greater degree of control over quality and reduces the amount of waste from bad batches. However, it also means less quantity available for the public. The wine here is value-priced, you get a lot for your money. This would be a great place to purchase or make personalized gifts.
