[Gabe's View] if you have a BBQ or party a lot of people who will drink a glass of wine but don’t necessarily spend countless hours obsessing over it are going to enjoy it. And the ones that do obsess over it, they’ll be glad it does in fact taste like Merlot.

BrixChicks: Pinot Noir #3 - More Russian River Pinot Noir

[BrixChicks] I just cannot seem to leave the Russian River Valley with such delicious offerings of Pinot Noir (see Pinot #2.) L'Angevin is the project of winemakers Alan Peirson and Robbie Meyer, whose acquaintance I made at the Acme Atelier Portfolio tasting in March of 2009. This Pinot Noir had just been released and I was very pleased to be able to taste it.

Wine and Hockey - Episode #690

[Wine Library TV] Lately I’ve been trying Pinots from Argentina, and for some reason, I don’t know, most of the ones I’ve been tasting seem a lot heavier on the palate than most pinots(for example the Mariflor 2005 Pinot Noir from Mendoza that I’m tasting right now). Also it displays other characteristics as if it’s blended with something else other than Pinot Noir.

Mcclean was shot at lest four times and died of his injuries, the department said.

[Slashfood] I've had some New World Pinots with an inferiority complex that wanted to be Cabernet, and while you can't fault the quality, the alcohol levels (topping 14 percent) and weight make you wonder what the varietal is, anyway.

[W!ne Exclamations] What a great example to teach me and others hopefully not reject a wine simply because it’s a Shiraz or a Merlot. Each farm tries to create its own distinct wine and as such we should not reject anything until we’ve tried it.
