[PRI's The World] Well, a supermarket chain in Britain wants to make it easier for customers unfamiliar with wine speak. Spar is experimenting with wine labels written in local slang so shoppers are not intimidated by the usual flowery language.

2007 Lang & Reed North Coast Cabernet Franc | Jason's Wine Blog ...

[Jason's Wine Blog] It seems unlikely this could have more in common with a Chinon than, say, a domestic Pinot Noir. The climates and age of the vineyards are so different.

BNP on Question Time: what would have been the point of banning ...

[Shiraz Socialist] I do not speak for Griffin, but I think it would be fair to say that when you consider that nearly half the people in Britain’s capital city and biggest city “belong to groups other than white British” and that the birth rates of these different groups is much higher, that the white British have been effectively ethnically cleansed from just that one city already and will be in a minority very soon.

[ChicagoNow] Mulled wine is usually associated with the Christmas holiday and frigidDecember temperatures, but its similarity to spiced cider made me thinkit could be the perfect thing to serve for this time of year as well.Mulled wine originally came about as a way to make bad wine palatableby adding spices and sugar to cover up the off flavors. Today, it is ahuge holiday tradition in Scandinavian countries and in Germany whereit is known as Glogg and Gluhwein, respectively.

Black Ridge Vineyards - 2007 Pinot Noir « Gabe's View

[Gabe's View] The nose of this Pinot shows toasty oak, vanilla and dark fruits such as plum and blueberry. Black cherry is dominant throughout the palate along with blackberry and hints of orange zest.
