Ballentine Vineyards, Zinfandel Port 2003
[Winecast] Ballentine Vineyards, Zinfandel Port, Napa Valley, Estate Grown 2003 ($25/375ml) - Deep garnet color, fresh boysenberry nose, intensely sweet boysenberry flavors but does not taste like 10% RS. Reminiscent of “late harvest” style Zins from the 1970s. Only available at the winery or to wine club members. Score: 8.5/10

Heightened acids are a tad astringent but I wouldn't hesitate to try this again in two or three years (only because I know how well these age).
[Vinography.com] Vinography: a wine blog: 2002 Cline "Ancient Vines" Zinfandel ...: This wine is blood red in the glass -- surprising, considering that it is so young and a zinfandel at that. Despite the uncharacteristic color, it dispels all uncertainty as to its varietal with a heavy nose of just-baked blackberry pie (maybe with a sweet oak crust) In the mouth it is lush and extracted, with ripe, dark blackberry and boysenberry flavors.
[Backroomwines.com] Monthly Wine picks, Napa Valley California, Daniel Dawson, Wine ...: Owned and made by Paul Skinner, this is a Cabernet from four vineyards, each grown on very different, distinct soils (Bale, Aiken, Cortina and Bressa). Bob Foley helped make this wine to some extent: how much I'm not exactly sure.
