Calendar Update
[Becks & Posh] Keeping up with all the online Food and Wine Blogging Community Events is a logistical nightmare. Let me try and help you out.
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
[The Heathen Commando Mission] Tidbits for snacking: . I know some of you are off galavanting in Eastern Kentucky, and learning to save lives, blah, blah, blah, but if you're not committed to blogging, then why did you start one in the first place? Every damn day when I launch my internet, I go to your blogs, expecting something, anything new. And it's always stale, same old, same old.
[Church of the Big Sky] Philadelphia Story: By the time we reached downtown, via an eyeopening trek through urban decay, I was working on a massive blood sugar low and we were both pretty hungry. But we wanted to see the dang museum, and we'd made it this far. The Sasquatch was willing to forgo the museum, but generations of pigheaded Irish ancestors wouldn't let me do that.
[Jellyfish Online] Tomboys Don't Cry (In Hilary Swank Movies): , a logistical nightmare.) And the reason I was scared of the hallway was because we used to watch a ”Learn to Read video at school about a girl who was scared to walk down her hallway BECAUSE A TIGER LIVED IN IT. So yeah, apparently inner-suburban Melbourne was riddled with wild lions just waiting to eat me up while I scurried off for a pee.
[A day in the life] back in the saddle revised: I really miss spending time with girlfriends during the week. Now that we all have 2-4 kids, it is sort of a logistical nightmare to get together sans Mothers Day Out. I did put Thomas in MDO twice this week and was able to eat with friends on both days. What a treat!
[Intervision] The Fan Plan: The future is in sites like Soundclick, link above, which will get more geographically relevant and more a part of the fabric of people's lives. Artists should be able to upload original patchwork quilt music as easily as I'm now blogging, put it on a site where others can find it. On Flickr, where I keep my photos, someone, somewhere, liked my art and said so, right on the site. Well, in the future my local friends and far off strangers should be able to hear what I'm doing, comment, put up their own stuff, add to mine, email it, use it to audition for bands, get exposure & gigs for your band or video or recording projects...
[Intervision] The Plan: licensing can be a logisticalnightmare. The music industry is already so bogged down by the complex... now blogging, put it on a site where others can find it. On Flickr, where I keep my photos, someone
[Blog.fellowshipchurch.com] Fellowship Church Blog: We launched the Fellowship Church Blog 10 days ago and have been thrilled with the response! In the first 10 days, the blog has received nearly 5,000 hits and has over 85 subscribers. We've also received some great feedback and ideas for the future. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time visit.

[Feeds.lovesicily.com] Food Blogs Live! | Blogging in the Food World: I have been really tardy with the blog. I blame it on the heat. Really, it's been so unbelievably hot in Paris. I went shopping yesterday looking for summer clothes, with a goal to wear as little as I could...
[My.brandeis.edu] Weblog Usage: We also want, of course, to allow any Brandeis community member to set up a personal weblog about any topic. While we will require a Brandeis email address to sign up, we will allow anonymous blogs. Because Computer Operators Group is a student club, it is not an official part of the University administration. This is good for bloggers because it means the University can't restrict your speech, and its good for the University because it means that they don't have to (because the system is not officially sactioned).
