Champagne in the Sunday Times.

Spittoon - wine news and tasting notes.[Spittoon - wine news and tasting notes.] Champagne in the Sunday Times. Big article in the Sunday Times today covering the major Champagne houses (nothing wine, frankly, in the Observer Food Monthly - where has Tim gone?). The Times article should be online soon...

Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.

http://blogs.guardian.co.uk [Blogs.guardian.co.uk] Observer Blog: Forget Techiquette; getting the blog worked up tonight (well, parts of it - Cocktail Girl isn't too bothered) is this: will Teddy Sheringham become the Premiership's all-time joint oldest outfield player next season? If you're still reading, here's our thinking so far: Sheringham signed a new contract with West Ham today, which means he'll be available for selection next season at the age of 40 (from April onwards). Gordon Strachan was 40 when he stopped playing for Coventry, and John Burridge played for Man City against QPR in May 1995 aged 43 - but he was a keeper, so he doesn't count.

[Jarretthousenorth.com] Jarrett House North :: Oh, almost forgot: a year ago tomorrow we saw our house for the first time and put in an offer. We were in stealth mode about our decision then, so there are no blog details save a description of the miserable state of my health that day. Looking back it’s pretty clear that the fierce indigestion I suffered was due to stress, but I wasn’t capable of putting two and two together until I had a recurrence of the symptoms during my first week at work.

[Saltys.com] Salty's Seafood Restaurant News Blog June 2005: “Brian gigs regularly with an impressive list of musicians: Jay Clayton, Stuart Dempster, Buddy Catlett, Denny Goodhew, and recorded albums with Chuck Metcalf, Little Bill and the Blue Notes, Barney McClure, Hans Teuber, among others,” reports Janusz. Kent joins Janusz and Tim Koss on bass for a memorable night of standards “Round Midnight," Miles Davis' "All Blues," and Janusz’s favorite, the Steely Dan tune "Deacon Blues," in Salty’s on Alki Café-Bar Friday, June 24.

Nba.comhttp://www.nba.com [Nba.com] NBA.com All-Star Blog 2005: Finally, some of the entries in this blog would not be possible without the help of many people, including Paul and Marc Hirschheimer (for the photo shoots), Kevin Dobstaff (for the Skills Challenge run through), Randy Kim (lead NBA.com editor) and the rest of the NBA.com crew -- Mike Allen, Adam Bloom, Jeff Dengate, Jen Nelson and Eric Weinstein -- who gathered quotes, sighted celebrities and made the whole weekend an incredible experience.

Users.bigpond.net.au[Users.bigpond.net.au] Stewart St Sharehouse: The sun was shining it was quite warm for the season and we've had a few very relaxing days with some friends up there. Now we're back to work, as for me that means, making drawing of all the stuff I've calculated on a 190 pages for my industral hall project. (I reckon it will pile up to some 8-10 A1-format plans.) Hmm, and I hope to finish it this week, so I don't have to worry about it when Anna and I travel to Vienna this weekend.
