Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.

[CrushingGrape] CrushingGrape - Cooking Steaks and Drinking Wine: From the book jacket: “Andrea Immer has one of the world’s best, and least pretentious, wine palates. In her debut cookbook she proves that her taste in food is just as finely honed and down-to-earth. Presenting 125 recipes that pair magnificently with wine, she shows how to bring these great flavor combinations to the dinner table””with minimum fuss and at minimal cost.

[Crushinggrape.com] CrushingGrape: I have an immense weakness for good blends. My favorite high-end wines come from Chateauneuf du Pape in the southern Rhone River Valley where the French government allows as many as 13 varietals to be included in the wines. I feel that artfully blending a wine in such a way that all of the best characteristics of each grape are harmoniously featured is akin to writing and directing a complex symphony. That is one reason why I gushed so heavily over the Erik’s the Red from Toad Hollow and is also why I am so head over heels in love with Coppola’s California Rosso ($9).
