[About.com Las Vegas Travel] I have had a love affair with Italian wines for quite sometime, maybe it was my high school English teacher with that long, Italian dark hair or the way she smiled when she talked about growing up on a vineyard in Tuscany. Just thinking about that makes me want to write a run on sentence and have her lecture me about...sorry I digress, Italian wine and food.

Only bottle of bubbly in the house was a bottle of the cheapest of cheapest wines: Lost Vineyards. Never tried their Spumante, but for $5.99 (at Jungle Jim’s), why not? Even though the “cork” is plastic, there is indeed bubbles racing up the flutes. It is sort of sweet, but not as sweet as typical Italian Spumante. That’s a GOOD thing for us. Not much in the fruit department. So not too sweet, not much flavor. Not much there, but nothing at all offensive or bad. A party for $5.99. Sure helps fill out the case for the 10% case discount!
