Goats Do Roam, South Africa 2004 Rosé

[culturedwino.com: A blog about wine and other yummy things] No surprise then that I picked up a bottle of Goats Do Roam for May’s Wine Blogging Wednesday.

Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.

Culinary Fool[Culinary Fool] WBW#6 - South African Reds: I have actually tried a couple South African wines in the past, although I am hard pressed to remember their names, except for Goats Do Roam Rosé. Not because the wine itself was particularly memorable (it was a bit sweeter than I would have liked) but, of course, for the very clever name.

[LENNDEVOURS] WBW #6 -- Boekenhoutskloof Estate 2000 Porcupine Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon: When Jeanne of CookSister emailed me about hosting Wine Blogging Wednesday, I'll admit I didn't know much about her. Given her choice of themes, I quickly learned that she's a South African living in the U.K.

[Cooksister.typepad.com] Cook sister!: WWBW#5 - Fairview's Goats do Roam in Villages: At last the turkey leftovers have been finished, the streamers have been swept away and it's time to get on with the business of 2005 - and the blog events start rolling again!  We've already had the first Is My Blog Burning? for the year and now it's time for the first Worldwide Wine Blogging Wednesday, brainchild of Lenn Thompson from Lenndeavours and hosted this time round by Pim

http://blogs.commercialappeal.com [Blogs.commercialappeal.com] Blake's Blog: Then I heard about the case of Gene Paccasassi, who said last week that he had to give up the goats that he'd been keeping at his home in the Vollintine-Evergreen neighborhood. Apparently, Piccasassi had two pet goats, Skippy and Ole Goat, for about a year until one of his neighbors squealed on him.

[Culturedwino.com] culturedwino.com: A blog about wine and other yummy things: Like most African Americans thinking of entering the wine industry, Garcia made a trip to Sonoma to talk to Edward Lee McDonald, the successful owner of Vision Cellars, who is considered the dean of African American vintners.

[Commonsblog.org] The Commons Blog: more trivial comments about goats: This morning, Radio 4's Today programme announced that a group of environmental campaigners - called "Friends of the Goats" - are outraged that a flock of goats in Devon may be culled because they are devastating the local environment - including people's gardens.

Vegblog.org[Vegblog.org] The Veg Blog: A weblog about veganism and vegetarianism: I remember carrying the little guy around before he was allowed to roam freely. Now he's grown up, but is still one of the few sheep that will come running up to you when he sees you.
