Not only is it exciting to hear the cork pop (do NOT show off by popping a cork indoors - you will hit someone or break something - always use a towel to cover the cork while slowly twisting and removing it), and to watch the bubbly pour into the champagne flutes.

http://www.corkd.com [Corkd.com] Cork'd - Whitehaven 2005 Sauvignon Blanc (Screw Cap): Really nice example of NZ sauvignon blanc, with a grassy/mineral nose and good balance and crisp but not overwhelming acidity. The flavors are citrus but more complex, not as one-note as other NZ SBs can be.

Seemed to be very popular with the attendees too.

I have only had the “Reserve Collection”, and the 2006 vintage has just arrived, tasting as good as or even better than the 2005 I enjoyed all summer.
