Gourmets of Wine > Marco Negri Moscato dAsti, 2003, Italy
[culturedwino.com: A blog about wine and other yummy things] It’s a wine from the Asti province of Italy’s Piemonte region. Asti, of course, is known for producing lightly bubbly wines (as in Asti Spumante), and this moscato is no exception.

[Slowtrav.com] Slow Travel - Dean's Wine Notes - Italy - Piemonte (Piedmont): I do not like my Barolo and Barbaresco too aged, but with all the modern advances in winemaking we will just have to wait and see. I usually buy 2 bottles of a given wine with the idea of opening one in about 5 to 7 years after release (10 years for a Barolo from vintage date and maybe 8 for a Barbaresco) and then judging what to do with the second by how well the first has done.
[Culturedwino.com] Sparkling Wine (includes Champagne) | culturedwino.com: The wine’s sweet first impression is followed by a clean, and less-sweet finish. Loaded with berry flavors, plus a hint of roses, this is a wine that begs to be sipped with chocolate, strawberries, raspberries and fruit tarts.
[Wine.blogs.com] Wine Whys: You can order a Barolo (region), you can order a Barbaresco (different region, about 2 miles away from Barolo), and you can order a Nebbiolo (grape) -- and all of them will be wine from the same Nebbiolo grape. They will certainly have different tastes, as there are somewhat strict production regulations around what winemakers can call a Barolo (e.g., number of months in oak), and they will have radically different price points as well.
