Marketing wine to women

[::the daily bread:: a food blog] Marketing wine to women

Some related posts from Technorati and Google.

[Michelemiller.blogs.com] WonderBranding: Marketing to Women: Word of mouth has launched some of the greatest business success stories ever, including Krispy Kreme and Yellow Tail Wine. Until recently, trying to measure the effectiveness of word of mouth marketing has seemed an impossible task.

[Culturedwino.com] White Lie wine: Because ladies are calorie obsessed and can’t ...: We did not buy bulk wine on the market, stick a frilly label on it and call it a ‘girls wine’. We chose grapes from our best Santa Barbera vineyards (one of the best chardonnay regions in the world), picked them earlier in the season so the sugar level - therefore alcohol level - would be a bit lower, and let our wine-maker Jane work her magic from there.

[Vivisjournal.com] Vivi's Wine Journal: While researching the economic impact of Napa wines to CA economy I came across this North Bay Business Journal article that indicates that while Napa County contributes just 4%, thats right F-O-U-R percent, of the wine in the state it accounts for 21% of the $45.4 Billion dollar statewide economic impact for wine. Combine that with Sonoma county and you’re now looking at 39% from less than 10% of CA wine producing regions.
