Gourmets of Wine > Nexus of Music and Wine Making.
[Spittoon - wine news and tasting notes.] Music adds a dimension to the wine making process that doesnt make it to the back label description. From the gentle cadence of Gregorian chant at Owen Roe to the bold strains of the Jimi Hendrix Experience heard while stirring a cauldron of biodynamic spray at Brick House, music is an inspirational partner in the winemaking process.

[Oh, Summer Life] John Hoyt says, "This album sucks," and I'll tell you why.: That's because it's trash! I listened to a little bit of a couple songs with John in his room today and it was just too frustrating to keep going. We had to turn it off. Seriously, people, what is wrong with you? Have you no sense of good and bad anymore, or do you just listen to what the stupid reviews say and base your opinion on that? Get a mind of your own and take the time listen to the music for once.
[Florida Cracker] Wednesday's Duane Allman Pic: I learned a lot -- layperson only, nothing professionally -- about schizophrenia after certain relationships in my life earlier and although the mental illness is quite chaotic in symptoms and behaviors to us others not suffering the problem, there are many shared symptoms by those with schizophrenia to the point that I could quite easily substitute in someone else's name in this story and it would still be 'accurate,' and that'd be the name of someone I knew well who was also suffering exactly the same illness with symptoms as described in this story (although I'm not aware if that person ever committed murder, he certainly appeared capable of that, if not impendingly threatening of such, on many occasions), and most of which, shared symptoms that I've witnessed in someone else, Gordon manifested and manifests.

[Weblog.bbzzdd.com] readme.blog: Music Archives: The thing I like most about Jimi is, if you go up to a jazz guitarist, or anyone who puts technique before the actual music, they go on about how Hendrix was a horribly "unstructured guitarist." My first guitar teacher was said type of wanker. Once I asked him about dropping tuning a half-step and he distainfully mentioned, "Oh, that's something Hendrix did," like it was a crime against the gods of structure.
