[Basic Juice - the wine blog for my generation] The population of Lebanon is comprised of Muslims (60%), Christians (40%) and Druze (grouped with the 60% Muslims). The Druze practice a religion, which developed out of Islam, and incorporates influences from Gnosticism, Christianity and Greek philosophy.

Chris At Home - by Chris: If Syria feels some kind of military demonstration is in order (and as Lebanons protector, Assad may feel he absolutely must do something or lose credibility in that regard), Israel may feel compelled to respond to any attack or demonstration with a strike of their own.
