Gourmets of Wine > WBW #10: Pinot NOT Noir

[Culinary Fool] When Alice announced this month's Wine Blogging Wednesday (WBW) theme I was thrilled!  In fact, it is exactly what I would have chosen if I was hosting.  (I have volunteered to host, and this event has become so popular that I am scheduled for December 2006!)

Previous [Previous] Pinot Blanc ~ Apple Green...

Next [Next] MEPs Vote for End to Alcohol Duty-Free Controls....

Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.

[Bourrezvisage.com] Food Blog Central @ bourrezvisage.com: For this month’s Wine Blogging Wednesday (numero diez, no less!), Alice from My Adventures in the Breadbox has chosen the theme: White Pinot.

[Gastronomie-sf.com] Gastronomie: WBW #10 - Pinot NOT Noir: Second, I'm ridiculously busy at work right now (hence the dearth of good posts), which means I'm pretty much relying on whatever is in the cellar. Fortunately, I had a bottle of Jacuzzi Pinot Gris which really needed to be drunk soon.

[Vinography.com] Vinography: a wine blog: WBW#7 Has Been Announced: Obscure Red ...: This month's event is being hosted by Andy over at Spittoon.Biz. He's laid down the law as to what's acceptable and what's not. Don't even think about drinking a wine that's got any of the following varietals in it: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, Tempranillo, Cabernet Franc, Pinotage, Gamay, or Zinfandel.

[Breadbox.typepad.com] My Adventures in the Breadbox: Announcing WBW 10 - White Pinot: It is with absolute pleasure that I announce the theme for the tenth installation of Wine Blogging Wednesday.  As many of you know, WBW is a monthly collaborative blogging event started by Lenn, from Lenndevours.  On the chosen Wednesday of every month, all participants post about a wine they have tried that fits within the theme chosen by each month's host.  You don't have to be a wine connoisseur or oenophile to participate...newbies are more than welcome, heck, I'm a wine newbie myself.  All you have to do is try a wine, post a picture of it (please), and let us all know what you think of the wine.  It is generally very helpful to also post an official tasting note...either from the back of the bottle or from an Internet site...whatever you can find.
