[Winexpression] Just another quick reminder, Wine Blogging Wednesday #19, When in Rhone, will kick off tomorrow Wednesday, March 8,2006. I’ve already received a few entries and feel that this is the quiet before the storm.

http://missingjtsnow.blogspot.com [Missing JT Snow] Brain Fart!: All day I was thinking, “Man, this is a really short week.” Later in the evening, I was checking out some favorite blogs and saw that TKW had posted the theme for this Wednesday’s Way Back Wednesday. Not to spoil tomorrow's post, but instantly I knew the photo I was going to publish, and the story to go with.

Becks & Poshhttp://becksposhnosh.blogspot.com [Becks & Posh] Calendar Update: Keeping up with all the online Food and Wine Blogging Community Events is a logistical nightmare. Let me try and help you out.

[Becks & Posh] a-Ring-a-Ring-of-Rosés: Join me on a round up of World Wine Blogging Wednesday 9th edition, in which gobal wine enthusiasts tasted Rosés and shared their tasting notes online. 41 bottles were opened, two of which remain in the fridge unloved and rejected.

[Cook sister!] Eggs, sugar, booze, photos and awards: I had a look at my list of recent posts yesterday and was amazed at just how much of it was taken up by posts which had been composed for inclusion in various food blogging events. In fact, the past month or so, what with hosting both a Wine Blogging Wednesday and an End of Month Egg on Toast Extravaganza and squeezing in an Is My Blog Burning contribution, it does seem as if I've had little time for anything else!!

[Appellation Australia] Wine Blogging Wednesday #6: With the theme set by Cook Sister! as “South African Reds”, how was I to keep my Australian theme going and still participate? It was obvious in the end, purchase a bottle of South African Red from a well-known producer and obtain a similar priced bottle of Australian Red from a well-known producer and let them face off against each other in Appellation Australia’s first blind tasting.

[Cook sister!] Reminder - WBW tomorrow!: A - It's Wine Blogging Wednesday, featuring my chosen theme of South African reds! If you haven't bought a bottle yet, check out my buying tips here and then dash out to your local wine merchant and get shopping!

Seattle Bon Vivant[Seattle Bon Vivant] Wine Blogging Wednesday No. 3: A reminder: Tomorrow is Election Day in the USA. A lot of you will be opening a bottle--or two-- of something delicious to either celebrate your candidate's victory or the fact that the airwaves will no longer be clogged by political ads or to drown your sorrows because your favorite lost or even to wait out the long night that might come if the results are too close to call.

http://lennthompson.typepad.com [Lennthompson.typepad.com] LENNDEVOURS: Proposal for a Wine Blogging Day: It must come from a New World wine nation that isn't the U.S., which leaves you places such as Australia, Argentina, New Zealand and Chile. Once you drink the wine (hopefully with friends!() you should post a picture of the bottle/label and write a little blurb with your impressions of the wine, what food you either did or would pair with it and, if possible, post an "official" tasting note for the wine.
