[My Wine Education] Joel has posted the BBQ Wine Blogging Wednesday Roundup. At last count, I think there were 27 different bloggers, many different foods, and many more than 27 wines that were tried.

It's always great when Clotilde joins us, but I'm diappointed she wasn't able to taste any of the wines, which are only auctioned off during a yearly festival...so we all missed out!

http://drvino.blogspot.com [Drvino.blogspot.com] Dr. Vino's wine blog: Wine shops that feel the love, WBW 18 roundup: Despite his apprehensions about inexpensive French wines, he tried a Viognier and a Kiwi Pinot Noir (2004 Lake Challace Pinot Noir Malborough, New Zealand) on the recommendation of the owner. He thought the Pinot was only work 84/100 points so we’ll have to stay tuned to his site to see if the Viognier fared better.

All are amazingly long-lived, and are sold at a fraction of the cost of the best white Burgs and Sauternes.

http://winecast.net [Winecast] Roundup of WBW 23 Posted: Joel over at Vivi’s Wine Journal has posted the summary of WBW 23 featuring 26 entries from around the globe. As I expected, there was plenty of discussion about the definition of BBQ and a nice selection of wines tasted.
