El Bloggo Torcido - Twisted Oak Winery: For example, the first course was a pair of appetizers featuring Tennessee ham and shrimp, which were favorites of President James Knox Polk - we paired these with our 2003 Verdelho (which is holding up very well.) Similarly, the soup course was Mock Turtle Soup, which was often served in William Howard Taft's White House - we paired this with our 2002 Grenache (which was one of the big hits of the night.) Winecast - A wine blog and podcast: It’s interesting to note that when Wine X started, back in 1997, their demographic was Gen-Xers as the oldest Millennials were only in their early teens.
