[Peter Stathakos - Stack Of Toast] Wine Blogging Wednesday 16: Judge A Bottle By Its Cover: You have lots of time (entries due on December 7th), so get out there and pick up a bottle. Oh, and if you're not a blogger but still want to participate Derrick will host your entry for you as well so you have no excuses.
[Winecast] WBW 16: Judge a Bottle By Its Cover: Instead of consulting the critics or our wine merchants for the best bottle we can find that fits the theme, Derrick is encouraging us to pick up any wine with a label that attracts us. Im going to limit myself to wines and producers I have never tasted before to make this a bit more interesting.
[Lennthompson.typepad.com] LENNDEVOURS: Note to anyone taking these two on a wine trip: Even if they are sick and have trouble tasting, they do NOT have trouble talking...and talking...and talking (just kidding guys) In all honesty, their already vast (and impressive hunger for) knowledge made them damn near perfect tasting room companions. Here's to many more tasting trips together in the future (yes all you Bay-area bloggers...Nena and I are coming...one of these days...I promise).
