[Winecast] Winecast 27 - A Tale of Two Pinots: Thankfully, the wine did not see any oak and was not subjected to the rigors of malolactic fermentation, so I expected it to be full in fruit flavors with a nice dose of acidity making this a good match for shellfish (oysters, anyone?!)This wine was also shy on the color with a bit of the old yellow/green, but had a much more powerful citrus nose than the previous Grigio.
[Grab Your Fork - foodie blog of photos and restaurant reviews from around the world] Upcoming events: Send your favourite food or wine posting in June to Saffron, and she'll compile a monthly snapshot of what Australian foodbloggers are ingesting, digesting and suggesting.

[Lennthompson.typepad.com] LENNDEVOURS: Proposal for a Wine Blogging Day: It must come from a New World wine nation that isn't the U.S., which leaves you places such as Australia, Argentina, New Zealand and Chile. Once you drink the wine (hopefully with friends!() you should post a picture of the bottle/label and write a little blurb with your impressions of the wine, what food you either did or would pair with it and, if possible, post an "official" tasting note for the wine.
[Vinography.com] Vinography: a wine blog: WBW2: Spanish Red Wine -- October 6th, 2004: The strength of the Euro pushes prices up and I don't want to exclude a lot of wines through an arbitrary price cap (it was certainly hard for me to find the last wine under $15). Also, I don't see any reason why if someone is interested in tasting and blogging about something more pricey we should stop them.
