Blogarific[Blogarific] Finalmente!: and Therasia where we had a delicious lunch and got buzzed on cheap wine.  During the excursion we met an Indian American couple (guy from San Diego) and talked English with them.  We also overheard an Irish woman tell her husband that “most Americans wouldn’t enjoy the hike up the caldera (volcano) because it was so difficult”.  It was nothing compared to Cinque Terre, but it’s always nice to hear ethnic stereotypes from strangers….NOT!  When we got back to the hotel- pool time!  We swam and drank beers and sat in a tepid “hot tub”.  We decided since the breakfast yoghurt was so good we would try the hotel restaurant for dinner.  We had Ken’s favorite appetizer, fried cheese, and then delicious Moussaka in a clay pot and a “cheese stuffed burger” which is really just a piece of ground beef (no bun or lettuce or anything) and french fries on the side.  Right when our food was placed on the table, the power went out in all of Oia, so we had an authentic candle-lit dinner!  It was que romantico!  We fell asleep ridiculously early that night.
